I watched that Milo thing and just thought, WOW!.. That looks crap! As a gamer there was nothing exciting at all... Just some school teacher pissing about with a 3d child.
The staff at the ones near me are nice enough, I don't think the staff are really the cause for it going under... more the fact they can no longer get credit with EA and Capcom.

No, there are some good games but they are not as emotionally powerful as films. That's not to say they will never be, but currently they are not...
I think games have some brilliant stoylines and characters and who knows what the future holds... but currently no game has the same impact as something like Shindlers List, Requiem For A Dream, American History X and many others.

Sonic Generations was great, and the first Sonic Adventure on DC was a nice new take... also Sonic Sega All-Stars racing was actually more fun than recent Mario Karts.
Also Sonic CD was actually a lot poorer than Sonic 1-2-3 + Knuckles, it just had at the time funky cartoon cut scenes.
All being said, Episode 1 had horrible physics and I am glad they have done away with it.
I bought 4 games for £8 in game this weekend.

Did anyone else have fond memories of Blast Chamber? When I think of PS1 that game always springs to mind.
Or better yet, speed it up a bit more like Halo 2. Each game has been a bit slower than the last.

Morgan is wrong as I own a PS3 and disagreed as I am not an enraged 360 fan, I just watched the video and didn't care. Heavy Rain regardless of its successes was boring to me, and I find it hard to get excited by a bit of motion capture from the same studio.

I only ever saw the first two through (both amazing and worth multiple playthroughs) I've never seen the 3rd one for sale, and I got stuck on 4 looking for a door keycode... stupid invincible ghosts with swords stuck in them put me off if I remember.
